Local Council

Your Councillor,* implements policy at a local level on: (local) Education, Housing, Cleansing, Council Tax, Environmental Health, Libraries, Parks, Planning, Police, Social Work and Street Lighting.

Scottish Parliament

UK Parliament

Your MP, Jim Hood or Tommy McAvoy, and the UK Parliament legislates on: Benefits, CSA, National Insurance, Pensions, Customs & Excise, Defence and National Security, Economy, Employment Law, Energy, Equal Opportunities, Foreign Affairs, Immigration, Taxation, International Development, Broadcasting and the Post Office.

European Parliament
